Riesling is back in stock!!!
We’ve been sold out of Riesling for over a year, but it is finally back in stock! Join us for a virtual tasting on Saturday, March 13 at 6pm where we’ll be discussing the 2019 Dry and Semi Dry Riesling. We’ll even have a special guest appearance from one of our growers! We’ll also be pairing our virtual tasting with a Dry Riesling Chutney and a Dry Riesling Pot Pie. A new vineyard will be a part of Song Hill!
Song Hill Winery is leasing a 1.7 acre, award-winning Chardonnay vineyard on Canandaigua Lake for this upcoming harvest. The vines were established in the 1980s. More recently Eric Frarey, part owner of Heron Hill winery, purchased the parcel in 2015, renaming it Macri Vineyard after his family. This year, Conor Gallagher will work alongside Eric to continue production of this unique parcel. The grapes will be used to make Song Hill Chardonnay, as well as Barrel Blanc, Rose, and Blanc de Blancs. We’re super excited about this new opportunity!

Our tasting room will be open to the public starting Saturday, April 24th! We look forward to seeing everyone again, and to sharing some of our latest vintages and food pairings with you. We also have dates set for a couple of special events. Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 6th for a wine-pairing brunch, and Sunday October 4th for a wine-pairing dinner! Chef Brian Gastin will be back in action and you won’t want to miss it.
